My Hdd is gone?

This is how the problem was solved:

I went to device manager and pressed the scan for hardware changes. Then my hdd was found again.

But anyway, does anyone know why this occurred in first place?

Hi. I made a deepscan of all my drivers, it completed C,H but while defraging the last "I" driver, the whole driver just disappeared! :shock:

 

So I restarted my computer and it is still gone.

Any idea what happend?

Please help me out, I got a lot of important work on that driver.

Hey, with That Many drives, it's bound to get Confused Sometime. :lol:

 

I would first suspect a hardware problem, such as a loose intermittent connector.

(Loose pins in the 4-pin ATA type power-connector are common. They get distorted with repeated use)

(the new SATA drives fixed that problem with a different type connector, tho)
