AWC 3 blocks Steam update [SOLVED]

your last update prevents the client STEAM from updateing and giving this error ,many people on steam forums reported same error and all of them are using advanced windows care 3, i uninstalled AWC 3 and i logged normally ,so fix this asap

Same. I uninstalled all my security programs and I still can't connect to steam. It's definitely ASC's security measures blocking it

Just uninstalled ASC and steam works again =)

I'm also having the same issue. Can't connect to Steam or play any games on Steam since the latest ASC update.

I just uninstalled ASC as well and Steam them worked fine. I reinstalled ASC and Steam is still working, so maybe that is a good enough fix?

The problem has returned for me and the fix in the link provided did not cure it. Removing ASC did again, but it's a pain to have to do this every so often.
