What software can you use to record a video with a webcam?

I have a Logitech webcam and have tried using the software that came with it. The problem is, the Logitech software screws up settings in other software I use.

 

Is there a third-party software program out there that anyone can recommend?

You can do it in most of the chat programs with video delivery such as MSN, Google Talk Yahoo, AIM, Skype.
