I am wondering if it is possible to not delete some temporary files. Every time I run 360, it deletes all temp files older than one week. Most of them I want deleted, but thee are a few ending in ".exe" that are Very Important and I do not want them deleted!!

Hi Davyd

Under options in privacy sweeper you can configure the settings to what you want to do.

Cheers

Hi Davy,

If you use Advanced SystemCare, there is the same function there, but as an extra you can see the temp files for System and Internet Explorer seperately and you can copy paste or cut paste them to some other folder you choose, the ones you don't want ASC to delete.

To achive this, after scanning Maintain Windows, click on xx,xx KB files found on the right of Junk Files Clean, Details: Junk Files Clean window will open, click the View Files button of Windows Temporary Files (Total x files, xxx Bytes recoverable) line.

Choose the files you want to keep in the opening window and copy them to your preferred folder.

You may find more useful info in USAGE of IOBIT PRODUCTS thread.

I hope this helps.

Cheers.

EDIT: Sorry solbjerg, I did not noticed that you replied.....

The more the merrier - and better! Cheers solbjerg
