Has there been any reporting of email programs not working properly after running Advanced System Care? Seems I am having issues with my Internet Service Provider's email program in IE8 and Google Chrome. Works Ok in Firefox and Safari.

 

Issue in IE8: There is a delay in the letters appearing on screen when I compose an email.

 

Issue in Chrome: When I try and do a reply, not all of the email page template shows. Specifically, the box for font selection, paragraph formatting and such, similar to what is on the template that I am typing on now.

 

My question: Is there any way Advanced System Care have caused these problems by changing or deleting something?

Hi Chzuck,

 

I dont know if you loaded the recommended update for WLS 2011, windows live service, about 2 weeks ago, but this seems to be causing a fair amount of problems, I actually ended up uninstalling it and went back to the old version.

 

If you want to see how much hassle its caused go to the windows 7 forum- Email.

OK, I tried your fix and it did not appear to help the problem and may have created a new one. Now after a few pages of web surfing, this computer appears to have lost its connection to the web, while another one on the network can still surf the web.

 

How can I undo the fix you gave me?

I did the NetworkMon debug fix.

After that seemed to cause more problems, I installed a previous backup in ASC and a reinstall of ASC. Now my network seems to work as it did. I think the email problems I have are unrelated to ASC. I found a way to work around the issues in Google Chrome. I found that if I go to the inbox and click on refresh before I read and reply to a message, all seems to work fine. Still not sure what is going on in IE8 email.

Thanks for all your help. I am considering buying ASC PRO because I do like the free version. Lots of good, useful tools.
