Both of these entries came up this am. I ran a scan yesterday and neither came up. I scanned both with Avira and it came back ok.

dsound.dll

i already have my files showing hidden folders and it does not show up when i try to browse to the file in either of the upload locations. neither of the sites will let me type in the location??

dsound.dll is not a hidden file! The only thing i did to fix the situation is use System Restore to a previous time! That works... I went everywhere to Microsoft.com to other free tech support forums and said that downloading the file and placing it in the System32 file will fix the situation! THAT DOESNT WORK! Hopefully they can remove the file from being scanned cause I ran the scan again the file shows up again. You can quarantine the file and it wont be removed or put it in the IGNORE list! Hopefully this helps and IObit fixes the problem.

Using System Restore fixes the problem! I went to the microsoft.com support forums and they said the same thing to find the dsound.dll file to download using a search engine and place the file in the System32 folder. THAT DOESNT WORK AT ALL! Use system restore! After I did I used Security 360 and dsound.dll came up again but you can place it in the IGNORE list! The dsound.dll file is a needed file for DirectX 9.0c so do not remove it!
