As you may know a server and a workstation works in a different logic.

A server's content is always changing and the placement of the files should be different.

Although I don't know in detail what the difference is, SDserver2010 is more convenient to server working algorithm.

Also SDServer2010 is a better choice for defragmenting virtual machines, I suppose.

I would not use SmartDefrag server2010 on a standard work station or a standalone PC if I were you.

It is designed for servers and shoud be used on servers.

Smart Defrag (standard free) is a better choice for a home PC.

Cheers.

Ok, seems to be fine and faster when doing the defrag maintenance of the drives.

You have answered my question, as to the difference and that explaines the price of the program.

Just for the heck of it, I shall let it run anyhow. There seems no problems, as it has done this 5 times now for every drive, plus the USB drives..as well, but again thank you for the response.
