I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

 

Now Christmas is coming

- the birth of a child

dangers were looming

the powers went wild.

They wanted to kill him

they feared what he was,

though newborn and slim

they knew he was boss.

 

The story is endlessly played again

always by people who think they come first.

Why are they so sure, why are they so vain

and drink only power to quench their thirst.

But power comes not from steel or sword

- much humbler I think - some call it weak

- an idea expressed with some simple word,

those that prevail are just the meek.

Merry xmas. We do not use the word christmas in Norway. We still use the word Jul. The selebration of the turning of the days.

 

Anyway, the santaclaus is actually a Coca Cola invention.

By the 21. of dec. you will have about 5 hours of daylight . I will have about 7 hours.

I am. Intel i7 cpu, 6 GB RAM, 128 GB Intel x25 SSD. Win 7 Ultimate

From Bios to login 11 sec.

On the SSD - OS, Visual Studio 2010, SQL server 2008 R2, Office Pro 2010. Complete installation of them all, and still 69 GB free.

 

BTW, Windows shut down the defragment of the SSD by it self. Only the hard drives can be defragmented.
