Looping on Windows startup

got this problem which is mentioned in the frequently asked questions,

I did manage to retrieve my backup and now everything is back

BUT - can I still use WindowsCare 2 without having this problem, or that it's just a lost cause for my XP system?

Hi Elad,

 

1) Please run "chkdsk /F" without "" in your command prompt window and answer yes "Y". Restart Windows.

In next start of Windows, your system files will be checked and corrected.

 

2)Uninstall-clean-reinstall as described in this thread by solbjerg.

 

3)Before "Repair" with the latest AWC, click "Show Details" of "System Optimization" and if you are not sure about the changes, put them in the ignore list.

 

4)Before "Repair" with the latest AWC, click "Show Details" of "Registry Fix" and if you are not sure about the deletion of the items, put them in the ignore list.

 

Please do not delete the necessary startup items in "Startup Manage" section.
