Rant about silent sneaky update!!!

Damn you IOBit.This is why companies do not do such things :evil:

 

Here's my problem: you replaced the default download ( http://download.iobit.com/defragsetup.exe ) in the PAD file with v2 Beta.Tho the version number is still 1.5 in the PAD file.Today i launch my program that checks for updated setup packages and what i see...wohoo...update

1.6 maybe?.Hmm odd.Version number same.I have set it to install silently with

/verysilent

switch.After it installed my graphics drivers are gone.Im at non native screen resolution.SD icon is broken in taskbar.Some damn toolbar is installed that spawns several annoying popups.

 

I am extremely displeased.Make a new PAD file for v2 Beta and update the URL in http://www.iobit.com/pad/sd-pad-file.xml to http://download.iobit.com/old/defragsetup.exe instead of http://download.iobit.com/defragsetup.exe

 

It is unfair to make such a silent change in the PAD file without no warning to the users.
