Backup 'Restore' Not Operational in ASC-4 ?

The Backup files will Not display in right column, in the system 'Restore/Rescue' utility? :?:

(It appears that 'Create Restore Point' is working properly tho)

 

(no problems with ASC-3 'Restore' on this computer)

 

Note:

Restore is activated by 'Rescue' button at top of main window, next to 'Settings' button.

Can Someone tell me if you see this problem Also, or if it's a problem with my install?

Hi Toppack,

 

Rescue works as designed in my Windows 7 Pro x32. i.e. there are values for Backup Dates and Changes columns on the right pane under Rescue Center with 3 optional usage buttons at the bottom.

I tried again today but Nothing appears in 'Backup-date & Changes' columns, in ASC-4.

Works great in ASC-3 though.

(Using W-7-64bit)

 

I suppose I'll wait for the next update to Re-install it, to see if that fixes the problem.

Sure seems strange that that is the only thing Not working here, in only ASC-4? :?:

(I would try it on another computer but I have a Rule of Not trying Beta programs on others.)

This is Still Not fixed in v1.5. :???:

 

I think I figured out what is happening.

Evidently ASC-4 will display Only backup files Created By ASC-4 and Not backup files created by other software.

So ASC-4 must be creating files that are different than other Windows backup files?

Or maybe they are in a different Folder and can not be found ?

 

ASC-3 appears to be seeing all the back-up files though, but Not sure.

Anyone know where those back-up files created by ASC-3 and ASC-4 are Stored in Windows-7 ?

(the Folder name & path?)

 

I thought they were somewhere under C:/windows/system32/

but can not find them?
