Definition updates for IS 360

Have received no updates for IS 360 since 1/28. Tried updates and says I have the latest. Anything going on there?

Mine did too finally. They may have closed down for Chinese New Year - just a guess though.

Ok So Here We Go Again Its Like 3 1/2 Days Since It Updated Is It Me Or Is There A Problem????

The official Spring Festival Holiday is this year from 2.-8.Feb.

The traditional from 2.-18. Feb.

So IObit is just starting up after the holiday today 9.Feb. with a still reduced staff.

This is probably why the definition files haven't been updated very often lately.

p.s. 31. jan. and 1. feb. were the weekend before the holiday :-)

p.p.s. Workers unite - I would like a 16 day holiday too this time of year!! :-)

then that was what was happening, I also seemed to me that before iobit is updated every day and now I said 4 days ago is not updated :lol:

Still no updates I have to say I would feel better that next time they go on holiday to make sure their product updates and runs properly that should be priority number 1.Thanks in advance for letting me blow off steam.

I don't know from where you are from but by me I got an update today - the additional .def file is now 86.373 bytes - I probably downloaded it a couple of hours after your post was posted..

We will see tomorrow if they are up to speed yet after the holiday :-)

Think time zone :-)

There has to be some humans at work to find and select the definition files, this selection process cannot be fully automated - machines aren't intelligent ;-)

Thanks Solbjerg yep updated twice today I feel safe again good product just felt forgotten for a moment or 2 and I am from East Coast USA8-):mrgreen:

We may have to wait another week before they are fully back to speed though.

 

I find it a good idea to disclose which country one is from - and the GMT timezone could be useful too - I will add mine straight away in my CP profile. Denmark GMT +1

Yours would be US GMT -5

Standard time zone for all China GMT+8 (17:08 right now in China)

So there is 6 hours between the two of us and 13 hours between you and IObit.

The anonymity would not suffer much from this disclosure :-)

I think they are up to speed now, - updates daily I think from now on.

Hope they had a Nice Spring festival vacation!! :-)
