ASC pro vs Microsoft security

So I have been using ASC pro for awhile now. Really like all the extra functions and such. But the other day I recieved a update that had The microsoft security program. So I decided to give my pc a full check with it. Low and behold it finds 16 file of spyware, adware, malware that ASC pro wouldnt find. Most of the 16 files it found were rated as severe. It makes me wonder how good the scanner on ASC pro is.

ASC is not anti-malware

 

Advanced System Care is not anti-malware software and so can't be compared to Microsoft Security Essentials.

IObit Security 360 is the IObit anti-malware software (but not anti-virus)

 

The Spyware Removal feature in Advanced System Care is looking for the more 'common' (for want of a better word) spyware that might be picked up while browsing the internet.
