Hi, I have been having this problem for sometime and am giving this a try..

 

ALL OF THE SYMPTOMS I HAVE LISTED BELOW ..

 

-Every time I go to open my videos, or my documents .. I immediately get a pop up saying that WINDOWS EXPLORER HAS A PROBLEM AND MUST CLOSE, if I click on details it brings up another pop up saying that Dr. Watson is having a prolem and MUST CLOSE.

When the windows explorer has a problem comes up, after trial and error, I have found I can just move that pop up to the lower part of my screen (leaving it there, just out of my way) I can then for a few minutes bring up what I need without a problem, but after 5-10 minutes, the computer will freeze or simply close everything and brings me back to my desktop.

 

-Starting yesterday, I clicked on my pictures, which for a very quick second will bring up all my folders, then just as quickly, if I am online will shut everything down back to the desktop.

 

-I renewed my iobit security 360 license and my license for advanced system care 3 PRO as well , which says it fixed over 1300 problems BUT TO NO AVAIL THE SAME SYMPTOMS WERE STILL HAPPENNING!!

I JUST RAN A HYJACK SCAN AND HAVE PASTED IT BELOW.. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS BEFORE I TAKE MY SHOTGUN AND PUT THIS COMPUTER OUT OF ITS MISERY!! lol IF I NEED TO SUPPLY MORE INFO JUST TELL ME HOW AND WHERE AND I WILL DO MY BEST TO HELP. EVERYTHING I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT COMPUTERS WHICH IS JUST THE NORMAL AVERAGE USER STUFF, HAS BEEN BY TRIAL AND ERROR, SO PLZ BEAR WITH ME IF I ASK ALOT OF QUESTIONS..

Hi Christy

To my mind it sounds like a chkdsk /r should be tried and a sfc /scannow

The commands written in Run one at a time and then lean back and take it easy for a good while. Follow the guides.

I am supposing that you have run a good anti-virus program!!
