Has anyone heard the expression "toll-cars"?

In Danish that would be "bimle-biler/busser"

Toll as in "For whom the bell tolls" - mostly known from Hemingway's novel by that name, but actually from John Donne's poem (sometime in the 1600)

Two lines in that poem "For whom the bell tolls - it tolls for thee"

I think these cars are most common in Pakistan and there usually on painted lorries, trucks and busses, that also carries small bells. (Hence the name I think!)

Small bells are usually used in that region to scare away ”bad/evil spirits”
