Please give us some names of the files, so if there is a common one, we can try to unlock and see if there is something wrong with IObit Unlocker.

 

Most probably, in the future releases, it will not work on IObit files.

Basically any file or folder that gives me an error message like "you need permission from Trusted Installer ...." before deleting the file or folder.

 

For example, I had used Windows Defender then uninstalled it and there is still the folder in program files. I tried to delete it using your "unlocker" but I get the same result.

 

For info, a few years ago, I did use a program also called "unlocker" (I think made by a French guy ) and it worked perfectly until Windows 7 came along. Now it also does not work, just like your unlocker ..

Unfortunately I am not from IObit and a user like you are, so it is rather IObit's Unlocker than mine. ;-)

 

IObit Unlocker is still in it's Beta phase and I believe it will get better in time.

 

I do still use the other Unlocker and there is a recent 1.9.1 version, but the previous 1.9 worked on my Win7 though...

IO bit unlocker is also for some kind of the installation problems

 

I tried to install one of the microsoft products and it said EQUATION folder access is denied of the folder might be deleted. I tried to open the folder but told access is denied and I used IO bit unlocker and it says locked.I just unlocked the folder and clicked the retry button of the office installation and soon it installed. Thanks to IO bit.:grin::grin::grin:
