Beta vs regular

Recommended Posts

I realize that Beta versions of any program is for learning and testing as I have used and tested many in the past, but this is the first time I have ever had a problem with a Beta version. The old version of the defrag would always do a great job for me,defraging to 1 or 2% but the beta version refuses to go below 48% for some reason. I can run it 2 or 3 times in a row and it still leaves most of the drive fragmented. I don't know for sure if it is the program or the hard drive as I have never used any program other than yours.:?::?:

Your lucky I can not even get it to defrag ,get error you have another defrag running, thought it may be Iobit 4.3 beta so disabled but still no joy, have not had this happen with any other defrag program,in fact just run Ausologics defrag of registry and hard drive with no problems.

Have to admit the Beta looks sweet, and bodes well for the future.

  • 2 weeks later...

The whole program went into the background of my WinVista Home Premium Edition. Probably showing that this program should have been gone into Official Release status for about 1 to 2 years ago. For me, Beta ceases to be when it reaches version 1.0 and, definitely not 4.03. The developer must be a leisure based contractor that does his work whenever he/she feels like doing so. Please, put a real dev. that will work 5 full days a week onto that program, OK.

Sincerely, LJP.

;-)
