on running toolbox - security - security holes scanner

 

it throws up all the language packs from windows updates, I have always deselected them as being unnecessary as i only use english.

 

is there any risk by not installing these? if not why does toolbox throw then up on a scan?

Hi sunny

As it is a portable application, one could argue that if you are going to help a German friend or an Irish one, it could come in handy if those languages where available.

But I agree that usually that is not the case, so I also make do with the English and the Danish language, to keep down the size of the portable Toolbox :-)

Windows language packs I do download as I have several/many languages on my machine.

thanks, would like to speak more languages, dabbled with loads but only speak english.
