It would be helpful if you could choose which hard drives you want to Auto Defrag with SmartDefrag. I have had to disable Auto Defrag because I have an external hard drive that I only use for backups, which goes into sleep mode when it is inactive for a period of time that you set. Since Auto Defrag is constantly working on all of my hard drives, my external hard drive detects that it is being accessed and never shuts off . It also disables my computers ability to automatically go into standby and hibernation. It is a waste of energy and will reduce the life of my external hard drive. I have had to schedule my computer to run SmartDefrag every night.
