Install Errors on version 3.8

I get install error when trying to install version 3.8. The error says' cannot import SCALEX. What now?:-(

Please try a Clean install - uninstall/delete program folder/install again

Clean Install concept explained in link in my signature or in Usage of IObit Products

Did Not Work

 

Did an uninstall, then deleted folder IOBit. Still get same error. What next?:sad:

More Info.....

 

1. running XP with current service packs, etc.

2. running current update Win Security Essentials.

3. have downloaded in both Firefox 4 and IE 8 with same result.

4. this is a laptop. also got the same error on my XP/desktop, but the error went away and was able to run the update OK.

5. did an ASC scan/cleanup before I tried the update.

Did you delete the folder in both the C./programs and in C:/Documents&Settings?

As described?

(the ASC folder is sufficient)

We are sorry that this is a problem of our new setup file:oops:. It only happens on very few computers.

 

We have solved this problem and will update the setup files in next version of ASC.
