Performance Monitor

It seems the the performance monitor is anchored to the primary display. Is there any way/possibility for this "feature" either in some tweak / in an upcoming build so it can be moved to another monitor?

Hi TMar

In the settings you can choose not to have it displayed or running.

I don't want it running all the time so I would prefer that is was in the tray with the ability to click it on or off.

Since very few users have a 2nd monitor on their computers I doubt there will ever be a way to move it, but that would be a good thing for those that do use more than one display.

I want it displayed and visible all the time, that's why I want it moved to another display in a triple monitor setup.

Really, a lot of the people I know run at least dual and many times triple or more monitor setups.

That thing is, windows handles desktop scaling and I can drag the dang thing anywhere on the primary monitor but as soon as it hits the primary's screen edge it stops. I can also send it, via the windows short-cut, to another monitor but when I mouse over it, it gets sent back to the primary. It's almost seems they coded it to prevent moving it to another monitor and that's what I don't understand (probably to keep it from being dragged off screen and unseen).

Hi Toppack

:-) Perhaps it works with a server license?? :-)

By the way lots of people I know (almost all) don't have more than 1 monitor. :-)

Hopefully IObit will be able to afford to buy a second monitor for their programmer sometime soon?

I tried a Dual-monitor setup but at the time there was only one program (a game) that I used, that really took advantage of 2, so I decided that it wasn't worth the desk-Space and Power-requirement needed. (that was before the release of the very wide LCD monitors, though)

With the Wide LCD monitors available now there is less need for 2 monitors.

I can see how it could be advantageous, if you are doing Graphics-software development or something like that, though.

And having 2 can really 'Impress the Neighbors'. ;-)

Hi Toppack

For a while there during the winter there were some days where it almost felt like that with all that snow. :-)

But one of my sons is visiting and helping me with storing up wood for the next three heating seasons :-)

Performance monitor error

I get an error frequently when performance monitor is running and quits: see attached jpg.

Is this a program that can be unloaded and not run with ASC?

Hi bfree, welcome to IObit forum!

I see that you are using ASC4 PRO, but I doubt that it is the most recent build, as your PMonitor.exe version is 1.0.0.15 instead of 1.0.0.17.

You can download the most recent version of ASC4 from Advanced SystemCare 4.0.1 (ASC4) available! .

After installing, if the problem persists, you can disable Performance Monitor going to:

More (on the main GUI)=>Settings...=>Settings:General Setting window=>Performance Monitor=>General=>untick Enable Performance Monitor

Next time you start Windows, Performance Monitor will be disabled.

Cheers.
