Can you have IObit Security 360 run without an antivirus program?

It is a very bad idea to run IS360 without also having an anti-virus program installed. IS360 is not an anti-virus program!

 

As for your observation that the PC is slower - that can come from several things.

The security setting generally, the latest security updates, your settings in the program i.e. if you use automatic functions and so on.

I think AVG is a bit heavy on the system. I use ESET and find it very efficient and light on my set-up.
