Performance Monitor Disappears

Hi. Can someone tell me why my Performance Monitor disappears. I pin it and it's stays on the desktop but sometimes when I go back to the desktop, it's gone. Is there a switch in Pro to turn PM on/off? I have to reboot to get it to display again. Thanks.

I have tried all day to duplicate the disappearing PM flag, but no matter what I do it's always there when I look at desktop.

Only clicking the Exit button makes it disappear for me.

One differance may be that I load it manually when I load ASC, Not at system bootup.

(I don't like loading anything extra at system startup)

Is there certain software that you are running that may be doing it, such as another system-monitor or task-manager?

Thanks for trying. It happened twice yesterday but not once today. However if u can provide me the location to turn PM on manually, that will help a lot. At least I won't hv to reboot. Much appreciated.

• Open Windows Explorer (Win Key + E)

• Open (double click) C:

• Open Program files

• Open IObit

• Open Advanced System Care 4

• In the right pane: Right click on the PMonitor icon

• Hover the cursor over Send to

• Click on Desktop (create shortcut)

Edit: By the way, it doesn't disappear off my desktop either.

All the best, woz of oz

Hello - I only have one options under General for Perf Monitor and it is always checked. However, PM seems to display and disappear at random even when pinned. I, too want it there always.

Did you try making a shortcut and running it manually, to see if it made a difference?

What Other programs do you have running at the same time as PM?

Which Security program are you using?

Which Operating-system are you using?

Maybe that Info will help determine what is causing it to disappear.

Same thing here. Only one check box and randomly disappears. Any solutions?

The function of the existing checkbox is the combination of the former 2 checkboxes.

The former ones were:

- Start PD when Windows starts

- Start PD when ASC starts

The new one is:

- Activate PD

So, when it is activated, it should start with Windows and continue to function unless exited, and only should restart either when Windows restarts or manually started by the executable PMonitor.exe.

Cheers.

 If it disappears during a session, double-click on a shortcut of PMonitor created on the desktop. The PMonitor is located here: C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 4 Just Right-click drag that into your desktop, and select "create shortcut" in the drop-down menu.

 There's an easy fix to make sure it gets displayed at every boot-up: Drag a shortcut of PMonitor into Start -> All Programs -> Start Up , and you're set.

 Cheers
