Smartdefrag 2 freezing issue

I have an issue with only Smartdefrag 2, the older versions work great. I'd like to be able to use the latest, but the program seems to freeze up at or near the start of the program. I've use ASC 4 to clean up any errors, there's nothing in the event viewer & task manager show that it is still running. It's not the whole program either. Although most functions won't work, I'm still able to select a skin, go into setting & support. Sometimes I'll get lucky & the program will start to analyze briefly before freezing.

 

Anybody else having this issue? Any help I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi rfmdevil

Are you running it on batteries - try plugging the power in.

Or have you tried choosing the not recommended setting to run it on battery anyway (not advisable)
