asc4 not accepting v3 license

i just received and email from iobit that read i could get the v4 pro edition and use my old license that i have for v3. i copied and pasted the old license into the activation box and clicked it. but received a message that read "the license has been activated for maximum pcs and cannot be used." i have had laptop issues in the past few months, which ended up being the hard drive, and had to preform several clean installs to try and remedy the problem. i decided to purchase a new laptop instead. now i need this program to work. my old license is valid until 6/14/11.
