AWC issues with AVG 8.0 Free

Dear Friends,

 

Advanced Windows Care V2.72 and V3.0 beta has compatiability issues with AVG 8.0 Free version. After repairing the system with AWC, including the option "Security Defense", AVG will show the same number of warnings which will be shown by AWC in their security defense option. After clearing the security defense in AWC, AVG will show the same issues as warnings. After clearing the warnings in AVG, AWC will show the same number of problems. Iobit is giving advertisement for AVG in their news center. But still they dont know these issues?

After "Scan", did you check all the checkboxes and applied the settings in "Spyware Defence Analysis" window of "Security Defence" 's "Show details..." concerning "Infection Defence", "Website Defence", and "Cookie Defence" sections before "Repair" for immunization and blocking to take effect after repair?

I did the same. But what I am saying is Once all the Immunization and Blocking is over, While scaning the system with the "New AVG 8.0," the same items blocked in AWC will be shown as adware in AVG Scaning.

FYI, I use AVG 8.0 Pro together with AWC 2.7,2,966 Pro and AWC3 Beta2.01, and it does not have this issue.

TO ravithottada, I'm glad I found someone else had the same problem as I do. FREE AVG 8.0 recognizes AWC as Adware. I tried it 3 times with the select all immunizations on and with it off. Makes no difference. 25,000 Warnings. It did speed up my computer but I can't keep it with the AVG filling up everytime it runs. I think it was picking up the most of something called COOLWARE. They are both free so it was too good to be true. They can't get along.
