Do i have to use Iobit malware fighter if i already have a antivirus program?

I'm using avast! internet security. I'm having some problem with using Iobit malware fighter when i login to my pc from boot up, avast! IS get's disabled automatically. My question is do i have to use Iobit malware fighter if i already have a antivirus program? Or would it make my pc running slow if if use two antivirus programs?

You don't have to use IMF together with Avast Internet security, but if you use IMF, it helps.8:)

 

IMF is not an anti-virus program, but a program to stop malwares in your PC, so it is advisable to use IMF together with an anti-virus program.

 

You may disable malware section of Avast if you want them to go hand in hand peacefully.

 

Normally there shouldn't be any problem running IMF together with Avast Internet Security, but if you can provide some screenshots, it will be helpful to find out if there is a problem. Perhaps a glitch for 64 bit?
