Started using GS3 beta some days ago, never tried such before havin a high end rig i expected it to not work so good.

It works great and ads didnt bother me at all (that tiny add line is nothin, just dont add more) Awesome if this is really going to be free. :wink:

 

-Games that have a launcher seem to trigger "game mode" but goes back to "normal mode" when launcher closes and start the game.

Noticed mostly on steam games atm... thou also a few non steam with launcher. Steam games without launcher works evry time it seems.

 

Will add more to this post if i find any other bugs :mrgreen:

-When i alt tab out o games and have a few windows in the background they turn black for some reason.

This has happen several times. Using windows basic looks atm even thou i have ultimate, dont like 3d desktops:p

 

-A few games crashed on exit (Red Faction:Armageddon, Dirt 3 and World Of Warcraft), but it´s rather rare it seem.

 

-turns on "game mode" when i click web links within Steam.

I've faced one bug. I have turned Windows update off. When I go to gaming mode & then come back to normal mode, the windows updates are turned on.

-The tweaks turns off my Mcafee Firewall and Mcafee Agent permanent:shock: , need option to avoid this. This is really bad in the long run.....

Couldnt find any option for it anywhere and Mcafee itself doesnt notice until i run Mcafee Virtual Technician:?

(Mcafee VT does fix it thou, until next time i optimize the tweaks thru game booster then i have to fix it again)

If anything this should be added to "Game Mode" and possible to select thru the config on "Start Boost" page. Not a permanent tweak.

 

-"Game Mode" activate when steam install DirectX n such before first time u play a game and goes "Normal Mode" again before the game start.

It is very random then if it pop back to "Game Mode" when the game actually start.

I bet if u go to Home page - click Config under the Start Boost button -

click last part called Others and uncheck "Turn off Automatic Updates" and Apply.

If u turn off Windows Update after that it prbly stay off:)
