MYOB files being called Malware

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I run quite an old version of the accounting software, MYOB (v. 11).

Every tim I run a Quickscan it identifies 8 MYOB .dll files as malware....type called " PSW.Onlinegames". I now know I have to untick these files. Before I worked out what was happening, I had to keep re-installing MYOB!.

The .dll files are cpdf, ctmyob, F3toP5, Myobini, myobsp32, P1toP5, UPG1TO8, UPG8TO5.

Don't know if later versions of MYOB are similarly affected, though I would have thought that at least some are embedded in the later versions. Could the team at IObit maybe remove these files from the malware list?

Many thanks,

David
