All of a sudden, ADC ver 4.01 is telling me I'm running a FREE version! NOT. Have been a loyal customer for quite a while and just upgraded on 1/22/11 and I do have the license number available. When inserting it in the box, tells me "that the maximum number of licenses for this key has been reached" of something that effect. I'm only running the program on ONE computer! :?

 

How do I get this straighten out? PLEASE? :roll:

@ enoskype: Thought you solved the problem after reading the thread that A.T. referred me. Dl'd latest version, installed, then inserted the key received from site you posted. All went well until the end and received this error:

 

Cannot open file "C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Advanced System Care4\ZLB925.tmp" The process cannot access the file because it is being used.

 

Bug report sent. In all the years I've used ADC, this is the first problem I have encountered. Hope it can be fixed. Awaiting a reply....BTW, did a cold reboot, error still occurred.

 

EDIT: went back and did a complete uninstall/install and received the same error. Only dif was the file name, it changed to ZLBBAE7. FYI.

WEIRD! Just rechecked and appears all is well. Showing 216 days left on license, reg number showing under "Manage License" and the green "A" is in the upper r/h corner of the desktop! Dunno, but for the time being, its fixed. :? :-)
