Human Interface Device Access - Not Working

When i uncheck this box under "Config -> Unnecessary Services" , my keyboard volume, mute, next track, previous track etc.. doesn't work.

 

In the past, when i would uncheck this box, i would be able to manipulate my volume (which i do quite often in games, as well as mute in case phone calls come in, i need to talk etc..)

 

Now with the new beta update v2.0, i an unable to control my keyboard keys even with the box unchecked.

 

Can anybody else confirm this?

I've already switched back to game booster 2 for this reason alone, so an update or a hint of consideration would be nice
