Misleading.Alfa Defender Pro ??? How to rid of it?

Misleading.Alfa Defender Pro - Deleted, REG, HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\BrowserEmulation&TLDUpdates, 2012867

This keeps coming up on my Iobit Malware Fighter Pro v 1.1.1, even if it says deleted. I wantant more info on this threat if possible please.

IS it a false positive, a scam program, or some other threat? Why doesn't my PAID version of IoBit Malware Fighter Pro at least quarantine it? Whatever "it" is.

I love Iobit and help me love you more- thank you!

Misleading. Alfa Defender Pro malware

I was doing a smart scan using IOBit Malware Fighter v1.11, and the software detected a "Misleading.Alfa Defender Pro" malware. I clicked repair and it stated it was repaired. To be on the safe side, I decided to do a full scan after doing the steps mentioned above. The malware showed up again. I tried to attach a report for this incident but for some reason it's not letting me. So, I'm copying and pasting it below. My laptop is running Windows 7 64-bit with Norton Security Suite, Advanced SystemCare Pro, and IOBit Malware Fighter installed. Can someone please tell me how to remove this malware permanently? Thanks!

The report:

Hi,

This morning I got a positive for Misleading Alpha Defender so I decided to revert to a disk image I made straight after a re-install from manufacturers disk which had had no chance of picking up an infection. Despite this I got a positive there as well. In both case just the one registry key was flagged (...TLDUpdater value 1) I am as sure as I can be that this is a false positive and have done as suggested - added to ignore list.

Regards Alex

Hi mnimonio,

If I was you unless your PC is showing symptoms I would add it to IMF ignore list. I am sure the image I installed was clean and my PC has not had problems so I am happy all is well. I expect the guys at Iobit will get this sorted soon.

Regards Alex

"Misleading.alpha defender pro" cannot be deleted

Every time I run a scan, iobit malware pro always finds "Misleading.alpha defender pro". Iobit says it deletes the file but when I run another scan, it reappears. Any idea how I can delete this thing permanently? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
