first of all sorry for my poor English. . i worry about i can't express clearly so i make some image to help explain.

My OS is win7 ultimate x64 and i install Advanced SystemCare 4.01 not long ago.

Yesterday i open the Toolbox, then open System Control

and then i open Task Bar -> Minimized Windows

http://forums.iobit.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=8200&d=1314575785

By Curiously, i set that from "Left" to "Right", click "Apply", then Pop-up a dialog box ask me whether I reboot computer, im going to see what will happen so i click "Yes".

problems have cropped up as shown in here:

http://forums.iobit.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=8201&d=1314575813

i open ASC -> Toolbox -> System Control -> Task Bar -> Minimized Windows at once.

Click "Default Settings", reboot computer right away.

BUT THE PROBLEM STILL THERE

so anybody can tell me how to solve the problem?

Enoskype,

I can see 2 images (not attachments)

but I'm not sure about what the problem is either?

It may be that Icons are moving or changing on task-bar, after reboot?

Can you please re-attach those images Toppack that I can not see.

That's very weird, there is only empty space instead of an image.

Cheers.

EDIT: Can you write the web addresses (destination address) when you right click on the images please.

Thanks for the attachments Toppack.

I have found out the addresses.

and

http://images.cjb.net/ade48.jpg

Absolutely nothing on the post but an empty space (10x10 pixels) in page color, but right clicks on them reveals the addresses.

Hover over with mouse arrow doesn't give any response whatsoever.

Never seen anything like that before.

Same with all three browser engines : IE9, FF6, Lunascape 6.5 (Trident, Gecko and Web Kit.)

Hmmmmm, interesting!!!!

Cheers.

That's what I get at the first one.

It appears the file name is corrupted on the first image.

(images.html?d9543.jpg) can not be a good file name

Edit - Ah, I see, it's actually d9543.jpg

Hi enoskype

If you mean post#1 then yes - I see them too in all the other posts I think :-)

Cheers

Hi solbjerg,

Do you see the images in the first post?

Cheers.

EDIT: Edited first file to first post.

Edit: A fist file must be a very dangerous one? :-)

Haaa haha, edited again, no more fist. :-)

Toppack, not only the corruption of the name, but the server which holds the images makes the page loading weird and slow. Always busy circle working on the tab of the browser without the VBulletin icon.

I will delete the images and point out your attachments.

Cheers.

DONE!

Now back to the problem.

globlexmd,

Did you try choosing Position: Left again?

BTW, I think that function is for windows when minimized, stays as a button on the Desktop instead of taskbar (98--XP style.)

If you can not correct it, Windows' System Restore to a point of time prior to that change could well be the remedy.

Cheers.

Edit: Precisely my question too!!

yes i choose Left again because i click "default setting" after the problem come.

i like XP style taskbar than 7 task-button.

i never use windows system restore.

i think something has changed in Windows Registry, that controls the length of a bar, maybe?

The problem was solved!!!

OK globlexmd, here are some tutorials for you and for all to read:

The attached image shows the registry values for Windows 7 Pro sp1 for default WindowsMetrics @:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowsMetrics

See if using the same values will help, but discard the font values and use yours.

Cheers.

hey buddy i try export a .reg file as that registry values from a computer with clean win7 os, then import to my computer and then reboot.

now the problem was solved!!!

In fact it just delete some useless registry values, you can see before and after:

before:

after:

people in this forum are very friendly and helpful.

In a word, thank you very very much!!

Hi globlexmd,

I am glad your problem is solved.

Your imported registry values from a clean Win 7 are exactly the same as in my attached image.

Enjoy your stay in the Forum.

Cheers.
