ReNaming ASC files Errors

Recommended Posts

In 2 other threads I mentioned that I had Disabled the ASCService.exe and the ASCTask.exe programs by Renaming them,

since I did not want them staying in memory, using resources.

Doing that does not cause any seen problems,

but I found out it does cause Error Event notifications to be written in Event-logs,

causing slight slow-downs when logs get full of data.

It's not a big problem, but thought I should mention it.

After disabling about 15 different programs, trying to be loaded by Other software packages also,

it adds up to a Lot of Error-Events,

but when you have a dozen or more programs running in Background,

without you knowing it, they can really Slow-down the computer.

There needs to be another way to prevent those files from being loaded if you don't want them.

I will continue to look at this, to find a better way.

IObit is not the only software company that loads up memory, with out you knowing it,

but there needs to be a easy and proper way to prevent that.
