Wirus in IObit!

Today my antiwirus programm AVAST found a "Win 32: Delf-KMP [Trj]"

wirus in IObit SmartDefrag Beta 5.01:-(

I deleted all parts of IObit in the memory of my laptop

and try to download new IObit programm from YOUR page.

AVAST once more found tha same wirus in it:x while downloading it:

What is going on?:?

I had the same warning from Avast today. I would guess it's a false alarm but I am no expert.

i use norton which has passed it as ok.

 

so has various antispyware.

It is most probably a false Positive from Avast!!!

 

Please find attached the results of Spybot-Search & Destroy and McAfee Security Center for AWC3Setup_Beta2.5.exe and DefragSetup.exe(5.01).

If AVAST found a wirus - there is a wirus.

I can guess You must have tried useing the AVAST and it had found a trojan

in IObit, hadn't it? :evil:

No, I do not have Avast at the moment in any of my PCs.

 

I do not say that Avast is not good, but after a search in the web, it is a common thought that it is false positive.

 

That's why I said most probably, but I believe you are sure that there is a virus!!!

 

If you feel that you can depend on only one Antivirus, then it is your choice.

Here is more scan attachments from AVG 8.0.93 Pro and Ad-Aware 2008 7.1.0.10 in Windows Vista Ultimate showing no malware.

Wirus in IObit!!!!!!

 

Yesterday I asked ALWIL what did it mean to find a wirus while there is not any one in IObit. They haven't answered so far.

An hour ago I tried AVAST once more and it didn't find any one wirus in IObit.

May be yesterday AVAST found a wirus because it was a fatal Friday of 13?

Or may be MR/MRS ALWIL doesn't like MR/MRS IObit?

So, we come to the conclusion that Avast's alert of "Win 32: Delf-KMP [Trj]" wirus in IObit SmartDefrag Beta 5.01 was a false positive.

 

Edit: See Tim Xue's this post. It was false positive.
