Whenever I play a game it starts fine, than it starts lagging really bad.

Hi stingiiz, welcome to IObit Forum! :-D

 

Definitely you need more RAM. Minimum of 2 GB, preferably more.

 

Updating to Vista sp2 will help for the RAM usage too.

 

Backup your system and perform an elevated command prompt chkdsk /R , you have a bad block on your hard disk.
