I()bit

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I have for a long time seen IObit as a synonym for Intelligently Optimised bit(s), but today I noticed the logo that looks more like I()bit, which put me in mind of the sign Alt+8812= (the mathematical "between" sign)

Which then could be interpreted as Intelligence between bit(s).

By and large almost the same conception. :-)

Cheers

Top line in the forum Toppack :-)

To create it precisely like that in Word I would have to fiddle a bit with it I think - but I think it could be done :-)

Cheers

p.s. first try: I()bit

Interesting!

Where did you see the I()bit logo?

Was it intentionally made that way by IObit employees,

or a mistake?

Maintaining a Balance

I always thought the image was related to a Gyroscope and was meant to represent maintaining a balance (in the computer)

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d5/Gyroscope_operation.gif/220px-Gyroscope_operation.gif

Could it be a modern version of the 'Yin and Yang' symbol ?

Yin and Yang, balance

Although we travel different paths we seem to be arriving at the same place :mrgreen:

All the best, woz of oz
