Defrag of Folder-mounted Volumes

I just installed the newest version of Smart Defrag 2.2 and I can see one feature that is lacking and that is to be able to defragment a volume that has been mounted as a folder. In my case I have a seperate partition that instead of being mounted as drive dedicated drive letter, I have it mounted as a folder so going to this specific folder in the D: drive is really going to this partition.

From what I can tell, Smart Defrag 2.2 doesn't see this partition at all, it will only see the typical drive letters and that's it.

My suggestion is to have the ability for Smart Defrag to also see this folder-mounted volumes.

Hi mkilman, welcome to IObit Forum!

Did you try clicking on Add File or Folder chevron under the volumes and clicking Add Folder...on the right of it after clicking the chevron?

In that way you can add that specific folder (directory) under other Volumes and it will stay there until you delete that item.

I haven't tried it for a volume folder, but itp erfectly works for other folders be it in any drive seen by the program.

Cheers.
