IObit & w7 netbooks

I have a recently new samsung netbook with 1g of RAM on w7 starter.

 

I have installed iobit smartdefrag on auto [with no defrag when on battery]

and have ASC running in background.

 

just after views on other netbook users, Do you have these iobit programes on auto or manual setups.

 

turbo boost switched off.

I hope you are doing well, I'm fine just haven't had much time to spend here due to a health crisis in my family. I'm making more of an effort to spend some time here.

 

I'm responding to your post because I'm not sure of what your question really is. This seems vague to me:

Who are you asking this to? ( "you" )and can you clarify the question?

 

Is your concern burdening your 1Gig of ram?

I prefer Manual run of all the utilities, instead of automaticly,

since I don't like any more running at boot-up than necessary, to shorten boot-time,

or running in backgound, slowing things down,

and I prefer to watch while programs, that are changing things, run.

the netbook is fast at surfing but slow on many other things and was wondering if readers prefer the auto functions and put up with the slower netbook or kept them to manual function only to conserve the limited speed of netbooks.

 

as for health just out of hosp got a few probs.
