Hi all

In the Windows calculator you have two settings - Standard or Scientific

The result can be quite different. i.e.

1+2*3 in standard is understood by the application as (1+2)*3 = 9

1+2*3 in scientific is understood here as 1+(2*3) = 7

The most correct is in my opinion to multiplicate first.

But in Windows calculator you can get it both ways!

p.s. The accepted order of operation is

PEDMAS Parenthesis, Exponents, Divide or Multiply, Add or Subtract
