Database dates different???

Just downloaded and installed AWC 2.81 and as I normally do, hit the "Update" button just to make sure everything was kosher.

 

The main AWC screen shows Program Version: 2.8.1.972, Database Date: 7/16/2008, Database Signature: 50399.

 

When I use "Update", it shows Database Date: 2008-6-30 and Database Reference: 52461.

 

Uhh, is this a glitch or do I need to go ahead and do the update?

I think it is a glitch. I noticed it last week. After updating database it showed the earlier date, but next time I opened the program, it showed current date. Strange.

Yeah, it kind confused me what with the 7/16/2008 date and an older database signature. Yet the update was saying an older date with a newer database signature.

 

Guess I'll go ahead and update and see what it says then.

Well, as you said, when I updated it originally had the older date showing.

 

Closed the program, reopened it and now the new 7/16/2008 is showing.
