Problem with ASC 4 and 5

From version 4 i start experience this problem after use ASC:

 

If I try to rename any folder in my system, I get "Could not find this item" with the choices "Try Again" and "Cancel". When I click "Try Again", it always succeeds. So - my system isn't crippled - but it is so totally annoying. I can even right-click on my desktop, and choose "New... Folder" and type in a name, and I get "Could not find this item".

I want to be sure its ASC doing me this problem so I installed version 5 on my laptop and after use it I start get this problem too in my laptop..

 

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

So you have been having this problem for quite awhile as an ASC4 and ASC5 user! Have you been using the Iobit shortcut fixer tool by chance?

 

Right click the folder, look at the properties to find the new location.
