System Tray Nightmares

 

Hello. I've been an iobit customer for a long time. One thing that concerns me is: Why do you insist on adding an icon for every single program you have to my system tray??? You'd think after 5 versions of ASC, you guys would come up with a single icon solution here:

As not all users use all Iobit products, and they use them differently, configuring them to run the way they want...

 

Having a single Iobit Icon in the task bar to manage all Iobit softwares in their different configurations would involve significant programming changes to every Iobit software and the creation of an entire new subroutine with its accompanying service to run on your machine! (Do you really want to clutter your machine with another background service??)

 

I would find that to be at least a bad dream!:grin:

 

Perhaps you could create a more aesthetically pleasing Icon for Smart Defrag and post it here to see if Iobit will adopt it and incorporate it! :grin:

?? Seems to me you only have 1 ASC icon??

A possibility may be that you right click Start choose properties and configure the icons in the process line to show those you want or need.
