Incomplete Bux Fix In ASC 5.1.0.195

Hello :-?

The annoying behavior of ASCTray.exe (permanent attempts to create an autorun entry) persists.

The new language file is not attached (it was sent on 12.29.2011 14.45h).

Unfortunately ASC.exe still sends a ping ... a real pity :-(

Hi Sarakael,

Thanks for your feedback, we have fixed this issue in the latest version and we can not reproduce this issue on our end.

Please provide the full name and specific version of your Firewall program so that we can reproduce the issue.

Thanks in advance!:-)

Hi Sarakael,

We have downloaded the same firewall product and done the tests, but we still can not reproduce this issue.

Please go to the "About" under the "More" to check the version of your Advanced SystemCare, then take a screen shot of it and send it to us.:-)

Your help will greatly help us look into the issue.;-)

Hi Cicely

If you have just installed Comodo Firewall you might not know that the log settings are not in an obvious place, they are under the More tab not the Firewall tab.

To check if the Firewall event logging is enabled:

• More tab

• Preferences

• Logging

Disable Firewall Logging is not ticked

In the other thread you wrote

Hello

no problem - I use COMODO Security Premium.

You can create a 'block order' in the firewall settings.

Please have a look to ...

http://www.bilderkiste.org/show/original/7132421153167/Unbenannt.png

I've installed the 'Important Patch' - nothing has changed for me.

I've also disabled the ASCService but ASCTray.exe still creates a startup entry at every time I open ASC.exe. :?

Is this the block you created?

http://forums.iobit.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=9288&stc=1&d=1326292320

I created those blocks of the 3 ASC processes that were running and had ASC minimized to SystemTray for about 2 hours and I didn't get any reports in Comodo Firewall Events of intrusions blocked.

Trying to find what the difference might be.

Have you used the Stealth Ports Wizard? I have it set at Block all incoming connections and make my ports stealth for everyone

I am also behind a wireless router

I guess my Comodo could be at fault but I installed it clean and fresh about 2 weeks ago.

Also your image shows 125 outbound connections that looks like a torrent client running but it says FireFox is 100%. What would have been running to create that many outbound connections using FireFox?

Hi

I block ASC.exe and ASCTray.exe.

ASCService is disabled.

I use the Stealth Port Wizard, same settings like you.The amount of outbound connections decrease after 10-15 seconds in Firefox and Opera. Seems like multiple inquiries for some IPs ( Telekom and Microsoft London Internet Data Center).

Anyhow I can't figure it out why ASC is still sending :???:

Have a nice day
