Download AWC3 Beta 2.80 (AWC3Setup-Beta2.8.exe 5193 KB) (AWC File version: 2.9.16.468 )

What's New in Beta 2.8.0

+ Added improved AutoUpdate function

NOTE: There is a missing file in the setup to cause a fault when you choose white skin.

Here is the

Temporary Solution:

Please "Save Picture As..." the attached file Upgrade1.png as Upgrade1.png,

and copy to:

C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced WindowsCare 3 Beta\Skin\White

folder, before choosing white.

and here you go...... the white skin works.

It is a mising file and I created it. It is not perfect though.

Enjoy it!

The UPDATED v. 2.8.0 errors on my Win 2000 PC whenever I set the interface to WHITE and sends bug report. It runs fine if interface is set to BLACK.

An update to my last post:

If you dowload UPDATED V. 2.8.0 and then use Live Update to install the new updater, it seems to have corrected the problem ov AVG finding a trojan in the updater. HOWEVER, be sure when you download the UPDATED version to set the interface to BLACK. White will error (even on XP) and be scrambled. Hopefully will be fixed soon.

Hi enoskype,

It does work-does look a little different. However, the program still errors when you open it if set to white.

Hi enoskype,

I deleted the last one from the white skin folder and copied it again. The program still errors when it is set to White skin. ( I have been trying it on XP.)

AWC3 Beta 2.8 & AVG Antivirus Free

I downloaded & installed the newest version and when I do a scan with AVG Free, it shows up that there is an infection named :

Trojan horse Generic11.FYT

I have the lastest updates from AVG.

Anybody have this same issue? Is this a real problem?

I tried on 3 different computers and all the same results!

Please help.

Thanks

Hi samr

Upgrade1[1].png - if that is how the file name looks, then rename it to

Upgrade1.png

Worked by me!

Thank you guys,

Now I understand the problem, because I was getting crazy about why it doesn't work!!! http://www.egem.com.tr/downloads/crashs.gif

I always download the attached image files with right click "Save Picture as..", then the name is exactly as it is, but when you right click on an image and "Copy" (I have never done that before) on a page in IE, then you have a file with these "[]" signs with a number in it (number 1 is a coincidence).

When samr says "copied again", it is "Saved it as it is and copied after" for me.

It is my fault, because I wrote "copy the attached file", when I wanted to mean "Save as" and copy.

I will EDIT posts #1 & #6.

Sorry for the inconvenience guys. I have learned one other thing today.:-D

Cheers.

iobitupdate.exe

just wanted you to know that I have a similar problem with 3 beta 2 when it goes into auto updates. I'm using AVAST security and it alerts me that IObitUpdate.exe is an infected file and labeled it as: "win32:Trojan-gen {Other}".

I want to continue using the beta program but I am hesitant since this alert. I read in another thread that this is only a bug and will be corrected. Do you have any more information on this issue?
