Newbie needs help with possible virus or malware

Not even sure what to call it. This morning I booted up my computer and ran ASCv5 (the free version). Rather than the normal procedure, the ASC screen came up with all the problems fixed --- except I hadn't even run the scan yet! It was very fast. Then a message box that said, "Your machine will be shutted down..." I mindless clicked on Cancel I think and then a split second after I did it I realized there's no such word as "shutted," so I figured my machine had been attacked or something. I upgraded to Pro, ran a complete scan. Also ran Malware Bytes and a full McAfee virus scan -- nothing. Something similar happened to another computer of mine and it turned out to be a virus, but it wasn't caught. Has anyone else had this problem and where can I get help, or was it just a fluke?

I tried to reproduce it, but everything loaded okay this morning (Monday). It happened so fast. I opened ASC to do a Quick Care (I was using the free version at the time) and instead of opening the screen (skin) that allows me to click on Scan Now, it opened up, said everything was repaired and then the popup said, "Your machine will be "shutted" down..." I knew no one at Iobit would use the word "shutted," so that clued me, but I had clicked on either OK or Cancel before I realized what I'd done. If it was a virus/malware/trojan or whatever you call it, what should I be looking for? Is there something in the Task Manager process list I can look for? As of now, everything seems to be working fine, so maybe I clicked on Cancel instead of OK. I'm sorry I can't be more help to you. Like I said, it happened so fast. Maybe it was a glitch with ASC?
