Very nice, thank you. 5000 years history and culture, we don't know what it will be before the opening. I like the character show very much, the character of "You" in Chinese(你) has more than 30 styles, it upgraded along with the river of history. Over 500 kingdom, over 5000 years, so there are too much to show.

Hi detailer

Some more details :-)

USA 110 medals (population 300 million)

China 100 medals (population 1300 million)

Norway 10 medals (population 4.5 million)

Denmark 7 medals (population 5.5 million)

I do not have any statistics for malware, - so I can't draw any conclusions. :-)

Cheers

Chinese could have increased gold medal tally with an olympic maleware writing competition-sorry -a little late reading the lounge posts-but couldn't resist that one-no offense intended to anyone

I must be reading the population numbers wrong.

Where did you get those numbers and, how old are they:?:

Ten years ago, the population of the U.S.A. reached a total of, at least, 450 million kind souls.:!:

I think, that you, seriously are, behind, in the news. At least, in the archived statistics, that is.

Thank you enokype for the clarification.

I had of course checked the numbers in advance, as ones own reference books tends to be at least 10 years old.

I just quoted approximated numbers to find a possible correlation between number of medals and population.

And Luc - I think you must have confused 250 mill. with 450 mill. 10 years ago, Bookshelf Basic which latest update by me is 1996 quotes 249 Mill. at that time.

An exact count is impossible unless you quote in nanoseconds, and even then it might not be totally correct.

Silly me.

I forgot that, about 8 years ago. Our calculations as to compare our numbers. U.S.A compared to Canada, used to be, 10 X the entire population of Canada(give or take a few millions).

34 million(year 2000 stats) X 10 = 340 million U.S. - all of the people being transferred around the world for their outsourced jobs at around 35 million of them = about the numbers you just provided us: 305 million.
