Shredder in the context menu?

I can't find a way to shred a file or folder by clicking on the right mouse.

 

Is it possible?

Hi CharnK, welcome to IObit Forum! :grin:

 

Please see the attached images when right clicked on a file and Shredder is chosen from the right click menu, IObit File Shredder, toolbox program of ASC opens with the file chosen to be shredded in a preferred method.

 

Control if File Shredder is checked in General Settings under Context Menu, when you click on More on the main ASC GUI and then Settings.

Try to toggle the checkmark.

 

If it doesn't work, I would suggest Clean Install.

Thank you so much for the reply. Now I can find the Shredder option.

 

One more question about running ASC 5 behind a proxy.

 

The program shows there is something I need to download, but it just cannot go on after this point. This happens on 2 computers at work.

Captures 1 and 2 show the results of "Check for updates."

 

I have input all the needed proxy settings, but there seems to be something wrong with this component.

Thanks for your suggestions.

 

The internet connection is OK since I can get on the web and do speed test.

 

After I turn off Kaspersky Internet Security 12.0.0.374, the problems with update and license refresh still remain.

 

By the way, I am using Windows 7 x64 Enterprise.
