Advanced System Care Defrag Issue

For the last few months of me doing scans with Advanced System Care the defrag has found no problem and i'm very sure there should be some because before i was always getting problems to defrag

I suggest using IObit's 'Smart-defrag 2' instead of the less complete defrag utility in ASC.

You can also run 'Smart-defrag 2' in the 'toolbox' section of ASC,

if SD-2 is installed.

Maybe your asc is set to not the defrag the volume before fragmentation exceeds to 3% or maximum to 15%

To change this go to Advanced SystemCare

Click on "More" and then go to "Settings"

When window pop up click on "Disk Defragment" in the deep care category

and Check "Run when fragments exceed" and set it to "Always defrag"

But smart defrag is more effective as Toppack said :smile:

Hi all,

i see that your running W7, did you know that it performs its own defrag, see your Task scheduler, unless you have cancelled it once a week, part of its initial setup
