Problems with Firefox 11 and ASC Pro

Hello,

I have consistently had problems with Firefox and ASC when using the Internet Booster-Optimize all setting in ASC. It drags into an unusable slow response that requires constant reloading. It's terrible and I suggest you do NOT include it until you work the bugs out. I finally uninstalled Firefox completely (without saving ol settings) and re-installed FF from scratch and back to a speedy browser. I will NOT TOUCH the Internet Booster toolbox as it seems very UN optimized. I have no files to send but just want to post the solution for frustrated users of Firefox.

Please do some de-bugging of this option as I have seen in forums and googling that it is a problem with others.

Thanks

No problems...

Welcome to the IObit Forum,Mate!

Zion,I use Palemoon 64bit which is a third party build of Firefox and have had absolutely no problem with the Net Optimiser from the toolbox. Even more,I recently changed to a wireless connection from 'wired' and have the same data thoughput if not more. Go to www.speedtest.net (it is the best,as it uses your local settings and servers) and see how you go there!

Firefox 11 and ASC

Thanks for replies, but I think you perhaps misunderstood. I do not want to use a Firefox emulator or other program, have used Firefox for years, as do hundreds of thousands of others. If you do not optimize the Internet Boost options for Firefox, you will be fine. I am not going to take another chance on this until I'm assured that it works out "out of the box" so to speak.

I honestly prefer for it just to work rather than finding solutions and fixes.

All other parts of this program seem great-it's just the "Optimizer" for Firefox needs to be addressed. As I mentioned before, this seems to be a problem posted previously by others so I'm feeling it a legit complaint. Firefox un-optimized by ASC seems to be a safe option as once you optimize with ASC you can't "restore" or "undo" what you just did without uninstalling and reinstalling FF.

The odd part is that IE works great.

Thanks

Too bad...

zion I use a LOT of browsers, there is no problem with the ASC Toolbox Optimiser or any proggies there. I assure you Mate, I run FF 11 and Palemoon 64bit (third party FF Build) mainly on my machine with no worries.

Go take a look at my Profile and see some of my configurations and stuff. Oh, do you have ASC 5.2.0.223? That is the latest release,I just love it! 8:)

ff slow

Hi DV8,

Dont be so hasty,

I use the optimiser for ff with the latest version of both.

My FF slowed down after i clean loaded asc/av, see my post.

i also use Pale moon browser, FF lite, IT WAS NOT affected there is something in asc that is causing this Saerkel said But i cannot delete/clean install because of the lose of Silverlight cleanup being removed from privacy/junk sweep in asc5/asc/av

Ah!

I see what you mean Roy and understand your reasons. Funny that I have and use IE9,Opera 64bit,Opera,Google Chrome,FF 11,Comodo Dragon and Slimbrowser with no problems. I also have Windows 7 and Asc 5.2 says under optimisation that IE and Chrome (I think) have no optimise options and doesn't optimise them. Go figure!

I have had the EXACT same problem. I'm not messing with the internet booster again until it is updated or something.
